Rules and regulations?

What about factory farm regulations?

There are so many ways that we are detached from what happens around us that to list them would probably take a sad week of labor. Who knows how much time we have to think about it anyways. There is no time to cook or garden. Food has to enter the home in layers of cellophane, polystyrene plastic insulating boards (aka styrofoam) or cardboard. Hardly any of us have put our hands to soil for anything else but house plants.

But slowly, ignorance is making fools of us by having our resources almost completely depleted. Because we want that jumbo bowl of jumbo shrimp, most of the ocean needs to be filtered with grand nets. Because we want turkey for dinner, most farms have become factories filled with cages, not grass, not trees, but industrial rows of man made metallic cages stuffed with birds or any other kind of animal that will not take a minute to just say no. Because obviously if one was to refuse being caged, if one was to put up a fight, indicating some kind of protest, presidents and their men would surely recognize and respect that right we all have: freedom.

Wouldn't they?
