Trust and Security

There's a way that things are that makes us feel safe and secure.

The illusion of knowledge and truth often eludes our minds from the prefab thoughts of what is authentic information upon which the reality we walk amongst makes sense to us, if even just for a moment.

Never really knowing if someone else's mother happens to know the truth before teaching it to their young.

when first seen

light monsters can be so very, very scary.
they say things that are so true.
so true in the way that no one can deny they are true.

the best thing about these light monsters, really, is how easy they can be tamed by the shadows which give form to an otherwise blinding reality.

there are monsters everywhere

and there you will find those who will slay those monsters.

the monsters i face are mine alone,
the monsters you face are your's alone,
the monsters we face, we face alone.

its nice that we know our monsters well
and we treat them the way we would want to be treated if we were someone else's monster.

all the bullies go away when the monsters are faced.
